Oklahoma City, Oklahoma is the capital of Oklahoma and the home of one of the best and exciting teams in the NBA, the Thunder. They play their home games at recently built Chesapeake Energy Arena, which has a capacity of 18,203 people. When the Thunder is playing, there is probably no better place and/or environment than here. The fans are loud and very involved. The city does not have any other major sports teams, but it does have plenty of venues that have great events for any occasion. Oklahoma City's best spots for theater are the Civic Center Music Hall and Stage Center for the Performing Arts. The Civic Center is the main location for concerts, Broadway shows, operas, and more. But the Stage Center is home to more of the local theater scene, and is a quite a landmark architecturally. Some other places to catch a theater show are: Rose State College Performing Arts Center and Lyric Theatre.
